Coaching-Leadership Camp · Coaching Leadership Bootcamp

Turn "knowing how to listen"
into your team's leadership

In almost every role that leads people, the most underrated leadership skill is the ability to truly hear the other person. We use deliberate practice to grow it into each person, one session at a time.

Not another leadership workshop you forget by Monday —
but a sustained practice that's monthly-paced, measurable, with leadership growing on both sides.

If it's not a fit, we'll tell you straight · no "closing" tactics

The underlying skill no one trains, and no one measures

Sales, management, healthcare, education, customer service — in almost every role that leads a team or deals with people, the real core skill is the same one: can you make the other person feel heard.

It decides whether a client keeps talking, whether a report dares to tell the truth, whether patients and students trust you. Yet it's almost never trained, and almost never measured — most leadership courses teach you to "persuade, motivate, present," but few teach you how to listen.

If you and your team practised real listening every week,
what would your conversations look like three months later?

Whatever kind of team you lead

What happens when a team learns to truly listen

The same underlying skill becomes a different real change in different fields. It doesn't belong only to the leader — everyone on the team can practise it, and everyone benefits.

🤝 Sales teams · get clients and the team to risk one more honest word
BEFORE
A client says two sentences and gets cut off with a product pitch — "being sold to again." The team learns to just talk too, and conversations stay shallow.
AFTER
Listen first, ask "and what else?", let the real concern surface; the team starts leading clients the same way.
👔 Managers and teams · make it safe to raise the real problems
BEFORE
In one-on-ones the manager talks 80%, the report nods "all good"; the problem only surfaces in the resignation letter.
AFTER
No interrupting, no rushing to solutions — the report starts telling the truth, problems surface early, in time to handle.
🩺 Healthcare teams · trust begins with being heard
BEFORE
The consultation runs like a checklist, the patient is cut off twice in a few sentences, feels uneasy, doesn't follow the advice; mentoring is just conclusions.
AFTER
Listen fully first, the patient feels taken seriously, compliance rises; younger doctors learn this kind of presence too.
📚 Education teams · make both teachers and students feel seen
BEFORE
The teacher talks, students listen; the teacher's own struggles go uncaught, and real voices slowly disappear.
AFTER
Truly hearing what the other is saying — engagement and trust return together, passed down layer by layer from the head to the classroom.
🎧 Customer-service teams · defuse conflict the moment someone feels heard
BEFORE
Rushing to solve, rushing to hang up; the customer feels misunderstood, anger rises, and the team tightens up with them.
AFTER
Let the customer finish their feelings and needs first, and many conflicts dissolve on the spot; supervisors lead the team the same way.
The problem with traditional leadership training

Most leadership / communication training goes like this: bring in a trainer, deliver a day or two of theory, hand out a workbook, everyone nods and takes notes. A week later, almost all of it is forgotten, and people lead exactly as before.

  • Stuck at "knowing" — understood, but never became a habit
  • No transfer — classroom techniques don't make it back into real leading situations
  • Can't be measured — budget spent, no evidence of any growth to show
Our method: deliberate practice, not lectures

This camp grows out of the "Listening SPA" — a weekly mindful-listening practice. Almost no theory. It isn't a course; it's a practice system that runs every week: a few minutes of pre-class learning to lay the ground, one real practice session a week, one daily micro-practice to keep the momentum. Come back again after a while, and let listening truly grow into you.

📚 Pre-class learning, a few minutes to lay the ground
A short online segment each week, watched at your own pace — only to set up that week's practice, never eating into precious practice time.
🎧 One real practice session a week + Q&A
About 2 hours each, groups of 2–4, everyone taking a turn as "sharer" and "listener." A round of Q&A first brings the method you just learned — or a real team challenge — straight into the practice; then we debrief together. You're not practising scripts, you're practising real presence.
🌱 One daily micro-practice, carried into real work
Between sessions, one small practice a day in the group — a reminder you can use right away, so listening keeps happening in real meetings, conversations and collaboration, not only in the practice room. Momentum unbroken is what makes integration happen.
📊 After each session, growth data is produced
Our analysis tool records the team's engagement value and the growth trend of its listening ability — making the impact visible and measurable.

Leadership growing on both ends of every conversation

What this training gives a team is more than "listening better." Every practice has two roles — the one listening, and the one sharing — and these two ends map exactly onto two kinds of leadership growth.

👂 When you're the listener → coaching leadership
The listening fundamentals you practise — don't interrupt, don't rush to share your own story, don't assume the answer — are exactly what a coaching leader does every day: give space, stay centred on the other person, replace orders with open questions. Only with a manager who truly listens do reports dare to tell the truth; the truth surfaces early, and problems get solved in time. This isn't a "soft skill" — it's a way of leading.
🌱 When you're the sharer → growing into a better leader
When it's your turn to share, you bring a real leadership situation — a piece of feedback never spoken, a stuck collaboration, a change that won't move. Here, the one sharing is not interrupted, not judged, not analysed, not advised — and it's exactly in that safety that they dare to touch real leadership challenges, and return to the team with fresh awareness.
The 12 leadership themes the sharer explores · over three months
Month 1 · Listening and the foundations of relationship
Listening to understandtruly hearing, instead of waiting to reply
Feedbackmaking feedback land, instead of triggering defence
Trust and vulnerabilitydaring to be imperfect, so the team dares to be honest
Conflictstaying in hard conversations, instead of avoiding or suppressing
Month 2 · Direction and influence
Goals and meaninglet the team know why, not just what
Growing potentialsee others' potential, and leave room to grow
Leading by influencedrive change through influence, not authority
Delegating and letting gohand over the task, leave the space to the person
Month 3 · Decisions and resilience
Decisions and ownershipchoosing when there's no standard answer
Emotion and pressuresteady yourself first, then you can hold others
Expression and directionmake people understand where you're heading
Change and uncertaintylead a team through terrain with no map
One session a week, 12 in total over three months. An opening orientation + a closing review can be added (one each), extending it to roughly a four-month version. It's not 12 lectures — it's bringing a real leadership situation and, in being genuinely listened to, seeing yourself as a leader again and again.
In the same practice, the one listening trains coaching leadership, and the one sharing grows their own leadership — both ends developing leaders. This is what "communication training" can't give: it turns every conversation into a deliberate practice of leadership.
First make it a habit, then go deeper

From "knowing how to listen" to "understanding why you listen this way"

Both stages run the same practice system (the one above). The only difference is the pre-class learning layer — and what you'll hear when the same practice comes around a second time.

Stage 1
Practise the fundamentals into a habit
  • Pre-class learning: three fundamentals — don't interrupt, don't volunteer your own story, don't assume the answer
  • Almost no theory, all about doing — first get the team to practise "listening" into a habit, and see the real change in relationships
Build the fundamentals first, see the real change; whether to go deeper, decide later.
Stage 2 · When you want to go deeper
The same practice, a deeper seeing
  • Pre-class learning becomes a 13-part "Mindful Listening" methodology — sharper responses, deeper questions, a more systematic way of leading people
  • Run the same practice a second time, and you'll clearly feel the difference
For organisations that want to distil listening into a repeatable, teachable team methodology. This is a system we've refined over years.

Get results from the fundamentals first; for better results, then go deeper. The courses are self-paced online; the practice room is only ever for practice, never for lectures. That's the biggest difference from "sitting through a two-day talk" — theory opens the depth, practice makes it grow into you. How to combine them, and how it's priced, we'll talk through when you book an experience.

Read one lesson first, then decide: the course behind the bootcamp is 《领导力训练营(企业版)· 知道 × 做到》 (Leadership Bootcamp, Enterprise Edition · Knowing × Doing) — 12 leadership themes plus a leadership practice library, unlocked when we work together. Lesson 1, 「真正听见团队,而不是等着回应」 (Truly hearing your team, rather than waiting to reply), is free for everyone: log in inside the mini-program and read it — nothing to pay, no time to book. The course and the mini-program are in Chinese.
Two views: what the member sees, and what the organisation sees

The same practice, two completely different views

So members dare to open up, and the organisation still gets the growth evidence it should, we keep the "individual" and "organisation" views fully separate. Here's what it looks like in the real product.

🧑 Member's view Private · visible only to them

After each session, every member gets a growth card of their own. One when it's their turn to share, another when it's their turn to listen.

2026-03-22··Theme: Conflict
📖 Sharing feedback
This time you brought a conflict you'd never raised with a colleague. In being fully heard, you first heard it yourself: what you avoid isn't conflict, it's "being disliked."
WHAT: a mirror of what you shared this session. WHY: being heard is often the first time you truly hear yourself.
💡 Insight that emerged
"If I name my own difficulty first, the other person actually softens more easily."
WHAT: an awareness that surfaced naturally during practice. WHY: the insight comes from you, not from someone else's advice.
🔍 To explore further
Next week, try saying to that colleague, "this is a bit hard for me too," and see where the conversation goes.
WHAT: an opening left for the next session. WHY: carry awareness back into real work, forming iteration.
🏷️ Sharing tags
#honest#recurring#unspoken
WHAT: a few keywords from what you shared. WHY: accumulated across sessions, the leadership themes you most often bring will surface.
📝 My notes · takeaway + action
Takeaway: exposing the difficulty first works better than reasoning first.
Action: try it once at Wednesday's project alignment meeting.
WHAT: the takeaway and action plan you write yourself. WHY: they enter your "growth archive"; a week later, you check whether you did it — visible only to you.
2026-03-22·👂 Listener·Listening level 3
👂 Listening feedback
This session you barely jumped in. When the other person got stuck, you didn't rush to fill it but left a silence — and in that silence, they said the most important thing.
WHAT: a mirror of your listening this time. WHY: listening is observable, practisable behaviour, not a gift.
✓ The three fundamentals
① Don't interrupt② Don't volunteer③ Don't assume
WHAT: every session is checked against these three. WHY: these three are exactly what a coaching leader does every day.
❓ Standout questions
"What made you willing to say it this time?"
"If the other person softened a little first, what would that look like?"
WHAT: the questions you asked that truly opened the other person up. WHY: good questions are a coaching leader's most concrete tool — keep them and practise.
🏷️ Listening tags
#presence#space#open questions#empathy
WHAT: the style of your listening this session. WHY: accumulated across sessions, see your growth direction as a listener.

These cards belong only to the member, and are never reported to anyone. The takeaways and actions in "My notes" settle into the individual's growth archive, becoming their own trail of leadership practice.

Seeing the change: before the first session and after the last, each member takes the Leadership Inertia Quiz — the same items, answered once against each of the 12 leadership themes. It gives no score, no ranking, no grade; placed side by side, the two runs let a member see for themselves what actually loosened over these three months, and what still needs more time. Like the cards above, the result belongs to them alone.
🏢 Organisation's view Anonymous aggregate · no individual visible

This is what other team-building programmes can't give you: not just "we ran an event," but team-level growth evidence — all anonymous, impossible to trace to any individual. Below is an illustration.

📚 Course progress
12 leadership themes, 8 / 12 done (Month 2 · Delegating and letting go).

Note: this is an observation of "real listening behaviour" over time, not a standardised assessment of some personality or ability. We prefer to promise less and deliver more.

🔒 What the organisation cannot see (this red line is never crossed)
  • What any individual shared
  • Who said what, who asked what
  • Anyone's personal feedback or growth cards
  • Any score or ranking pointing to an individual

Just as when an organisation hires coaches for its members, we follow the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Code of Ethics: the organisation only receives anonymous, aggregated team data; each person's individual analysis always belongs to them alone, and is never reported to managers or HR.

Precisely because no one is "scoring and reporting upward," members truly open up — and only real openness practises real capability.

The boundary of confidentiality: fully confidential, with only two exceptions — when someone's safety, their own or another's, is at risk; and when required by law or a court (the shared ethical floor of the coaching and psychology professions, solely for safety and legality).
🤔 Maybe what you're looking for isn't leadership training
If what you want to give your team is purely a space to "be well listened to once" —
→ See "Listening SPA · the mindful-listening group"
Where this investment pays off

Listening isn't a "soft-skill perk" — it speaks directly to the cost each field is already paying.

TeamWhat better listening bringsWhat it means for results
Sales teamsDeeper need discovery, less defensivenessHigher conversion · fewer "I'll think about it" deals lost
Managers and teamsTeams dare to be honest, problems surface earlyFewer surprise departures · risks handled sooner
Healthcare teamsPatients trust, feel taken seriouslyCompliance rises · complaints and disputes fall
Education teamsTeachers and students feel seenClassroom engagement and trust rise
Customer-service teamsConflict dissolves on being heardSatisfaction and repeat business rise · fewer escalations

Two core metrics (engagement value + listening-ability growth trend) run through every role — the same data means a different payoff in different fields. That's exactly why it can be seen and measured.

Why online
Mixed groups across locations and departments. If an organisation has multiple sites or teams, we can put colleagues who are connected yet not too familiar into the same group — compared with direct teammates, people often open up more easily in such a group.
Scale no longer limited by "can I keep an eye on everyone." Online, many small groups can run in parallel, with assistant coaches helping to lead them.
Data keeps delivering value after each session. In-person, it's over when it's over; online lets the growth be recorded and seen.
Pace: set by what the team can take

Weekly might be too much for a team. Together we find a rhythm that ensures integration without disrupting work:

Weekly
High intensity · immersion phase
Every two weeks
The balance point for most teams
Monthly
Light load · long cycle
Don't trust our slides — let your team's own data speak

We won't throw a deck of "success-story slides" at you. A more honest, and more convincing, way is this:

Run a free team experience first, let your team live it once, and get a baseline of your own data.

After a while, the data will tell you whether it works — using your team's own growth curve, not someone else's story. That's more solid than any promise.

How pricing is set

Your team can land anywhere on a line — from "join the public community" to "fully dedicated." Where you land is where the price is.

Simplest · member perk (lowest price)
You only pay the membership fee for your members, and they join the public Listening SPA as ordinary members, in mixed groups with others (free topics, not specifically exploring leadership themes). Lowest cost — because it reuses everything already running. Good for treating it as a wellbeing perk.
Fullest · team development programme (highest price)
A dedicated page under your brand (white-label) · a team growth report for HR / managers · one assistant per practice group · sessions exclusively for you · time, themes and pace all set by you. Good for treating it as a measurable leadership development programme.

Most teams land somewhere in between. The price depends on which of these you want:

Book a free team experience first, we'll see the real fit, then give you a clear, transparent proposal — rather than quoting a number to "close" you.

🌱 First-batch partner organisations · co-creators
This camp is just getting started. As an early partner organisation, you're a "co-creator" — you enjoy the first-batch price, and together with us shape it into the best fit for Chinese teams.
How to bring it into your team
① Book a team experience first
Let you and 2–3 key colleagues experience it once first, without involving the whole team, then decide. You'll also get a brief you can use to introduce it to HR / your manager.
② Get a baseline of your own data
After the experience session, you'll see what this data looks like — engagement value, listening trend — all from your own team.
③ Set the plan together
By headcount, pace, reporting and white-label needs, set a clear, transparent plan.

A few common questions
Q · Can managers see how an individual member performs?
No. Following ICF ethics, the organisation only receives anonymous, aggregated team-level data; each person's individual analysis belongs to them alone. That's exactly the precondition for members to open up and for capability to be practised.
Q · Is this psychotherapy? Will members have concerns?
It's not therapy. It's a deliberate practice of mindful listening — people take turns sharing a real but not necessarily heavy topic, and practise listening attentively. It's aimed at growth in everyday communication and leading people, and does not treat trauma.
Q · What exactly makes it different from "leadership training"?
Most leadership training is lectures — the trainer talks, you take notes, you stop at "knowing." This training has almost no theory; it swaps the meeting room for a practice room: every session you're practising real listening and expression, the skill made real again and again until it becomes a habit, and it can be measured.
Q · How much time does one session take?
About 2 hours each — roughly 1 hour of real practice, plus the pre-practice Q&A and the post-practice review. Frequency is set by the team's rhythm — weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. Together we'll find an arrangement that ensures integration without disrupting work.
Q · Our team is large — can it hold up?
Yes. Online, many groups of 2–4 can run in parallel, with assistant coaches helping to lead them — scale grows by adding more groups, not by making groups bigger.
